Saville Leaves The Shots

Jack Saville has left Aldershot Town after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

The 25 year-old extended his stay at the EBB Stadium into a second season during the summer, but has made just eight starts in 2016-17. The last of those came against East Thurrock United in the FA Trophy first round replay and, along with a further two substitute appearances this season, Jack has played a total 36 games for The Shots.

A graduate of the Reading and Chelsea youth academies, who subsequently turned professional with Southampton in 2009, Jack made 26 appearances for Barnet in 2014-15 as they won the Vanarama Conference title, before joining The Shots in the summer of 2015.

We thank Jack for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
