Aldershot Town have been grateful this week for the assistance of 14 year-old Shots fan Sam Marshall on a one-week work experience placement.
Sam, who attends Weydon School in Farnham and has ambitions to be a Groundsman himself, has been working with Head Groundsman Andy Nunn and Kitman Steve Francis in vital end-of-season tasks around the Electrical Services Stadium.
Duties have included preparation of the pitch for scarifying, creation of an inventory of equipment in the home dressing room’s Boot Room, and early preparation of training kit in readiness for pre-season.
