Play For The Shots And Boost Your Career

Aldershot Town are providing teenagers with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the Club and further their career.

The Fut5al Education Programme allows 16 and 17 year-olds to study for a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (worth up to 3 A-Levels) whilst playing for The Shots against Football League clubs in a purpose-built Futsal arena.

The Programme is a two-year full-time qualification which provides exit routes ranging from University to a sporting career, both in the UK and overseas. Working with the Aldershot Town Football in the Community Trust also allows young people the chance to gain coaching and refereeing experience, working alongside the Trust’s professional coaches, with the opportunity to become a paid coach once qualified.

Students ideally require four GCSE qualifications, grade A – C, including English and maths, or a BTEC Level 2, but those who narrowly miss out may still be considered. Even students already enrolled in a College course can switch to the Futsal Education Programme.

To apply, complete the form at www.fltfutsal.co.uk/application-form. For further information, call 01252 339384 or email fitc@theshots.co.uk.
