Non-League Day 2015

Saturday 10 October is the sixth annual Non-League Day, and The Shots’ home game against Altrincham is one of four designated Fans For Diversity matches on that day.

Non-League Day was established in 2010 to promote non-league football on a weekend with no Premier League or Championship fixtures, and encourage fans of those teams to support their local side instead.

Which is where YOU can help us! If you know a fan who doesn’t have a game to go to on Saturday 10 October, why not invite them to join you in enjoying the atmosphere at the EBB Stadium?

Organised jointly by Kick It Out and the Football Supporters Federation, Fans For Diversity was launched in March 2014 to promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure that fans of all clubs, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, faith, sexual orientation or any other identifying feature, feel safe and welcome at matches. The campaign is co-ordinated by the FSF’s Diversity and Campaigns Manager, former Dagenham and Redbridge defender Anwar Uddin.

Non-League Day is also continuing its partnership with Prostate Cancer UK and the Men United campaign, to raise funds for, and awareness of, an illness that affects thousands of men in Britain every year.
