Gillingham Reserves 2 Aldershot Town Reserves 2

Shots Reserves recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw their Totesport.com Combination match away to Gillingham. Shots started all five substitutes from the previous night's win at Rotherham. Southampton Academy goalkeeper Liam Hogan had a second start; further trialists were Wealdstone right-back Carl Martin and central defender Liam Atkin, formerly on Carlisle's books.

Gillingham, fielding eight trialists, took an eighth minute lead through Charlie Martin's powerful shot. Their lead was extended a couple of minutes later when Lewis Smith stabbed home a parried header following a corner.

The Shots pulled a goal back on 55 minutes; Justin Cochrane's pass set Danny Hylton through on goal to drive high into the Gillingham net. Marvin Morgan hit the bar as Shots chased the game, and on 74 minutes Morgan bagged the equaliser. Unchallenged Morgan headed Dean Howell's free kick to the far post past Smelt for 2-2.

Aldershot: Liam Hogan; Carl Martin, Dean Howell, Liam Atkin, Ricky Newman; Louie Soares (Reece Connolly 61), Justin Cochrane (Carlton Cox 61), Scott Donnelly, Junior Mendes; Danny Hylton, Marvin Morgan (Ben Hutchings 75).
