"Tuesday was one of the best victories of the season and the biggest game so far. They are flying high but we out played them and I don't recall them getting a shot on target. We worked hard and deserved the win.
"Due credit to the new boys who have come in. The place has been freshened up and this was a totally different kind of team to the one that played Southend on Boxing Day. We are all pulling together and doing really well.
"We always believed in ourselves. Every club in the country goes through a bad spell and we have had ours. Our first goal was a bit lucky on Tuesday but six or seven weeks ago that was the luck we weren't getting. We have plenty of quality in this side to get goals.
"I learnt a big lesson since Boxing Day and it is something I will never repeat. We have been recording clean sheets too and the fans went home happy on Tuesday. It was a great atmosphere and it gives us a real boost when they are buzzing like they were on the night."
