Chelsea v Everton U21 – FREE admission!

Chelsea’s Barclays Under 21 Premier League game against Everton this Thursday, 23 April, at the Electrical Services Stadium is FREE for all supporters. Kick-off is 7pm.

The Blues are currently ninth in the table but with victory in their games in hand could move up to second place, just two points behind leaders Manchester United. With seven games left for Adi Viveash’s team, a late push could still see them in the mix for the title, which this season is awarded outright to the team finishing top of the table instead of the top four progressing to a Play-Off semi-final.

Chelsea are currently without a win in five matches but, in 34 goal striker Dominic Solanke, have a player in superb form. The 17 year-old made his first-team debut in October’s Champions League tie against Maribor, and was an unused substitute in the 1-0 Premier League victory against Manchester United on Saturday. He scored 12 goals as The Blues won the UEFA Youth League last week and was afforded the honour of training with the senior England squad in the build-up to last month’s European Championship qualifier against Lithuania.

Everton, managed by former Toffees’ defender David Unsworth, are second from bottom of the table and fighting to avoid relegation.

Chelsea’s next game at Aldershot Town is on Thursday 7 May, when Liverpool visit the ESS for one of the biggest fixtures of the season. Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, with all season ticket holders admitted free.
