Chelsea’s Under 23 Premier League 2 fixture against Manchester City will now be played this Saturday, 18 February, at 1pm.
Originally scheduled for the preceding evening, The Blues are on a nine-game unbeaten run which has taken them up to fourth in the table and now host second-placed City, who themselves are unbeaten in six.
Chelsea’s last Premier League 2 fixture saw their team include Belgian under 21 international Charly Musonda – back from a loan spell in La Liga with Real Betis – and Dominic Solanke, an England Under 21 international with first-team experience.
City have also recently seen several Academy players, including Kelechi Iheanacho, Aleix Garcia and Tosin Adarabioyo, graduate to Pep Guardiola’s first-team.
Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, with season ticket holders for both Aldershot Town and Chelsea admitted free of charge.
Remaining Chelsea Academy fixtures at the EBB Stadium are:
Friday 7 April, 7.05pm: Chelsea v Sunderland
Friday 21 April, 7.05pm: Chelsea v Everton
