There is still chance for you to own a special commemorative Captain’s armband, worn by Shots skipper Sean McGinty, and help raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The deadline for bids, to be emailed to steve.gibbs@theshots.co.uk with Captain’s Armband in as the subject, is Wednesday 25 November.
The armband was worn in two National League fixtures, against Lincoln City and Kidderminster Harriers, and all money raised will help to raise much-needed funds for the RBL’s work in supporting members of our Armed Forces who need care in our communities at this time.
An initiative led by Aldershot Town, it is hoped that the armbands worn by all 68 National League team Captains will raise an additional £10,000 for the appeal.
