Sponsorship Programme

Aldershot Town Football Club is seeking an organisation to be the club's main sponsor through the sponsorship Programme for the 2006-07 and the 2007-08 seasons.

The sponsorship programme will provide funding for the club of £100,000 per annum with an anticipated initial agreement for two years As the club's official sponsor.

The Sponsorship organisation will have it's name and logo prominently displayed:

  • On the front and back of the "home" and "away" shirts.
  • On the back of the shorts.
  • On strategically placed advertising boards around the Recreation Ground.
  • In the match day programme, on the clubs official website, http://www.theshots.co.uk
  • Stationery

Benefits of Sponsoring ATFC

The sponsorship programme includes the following opportunities to the Sponsoring Organisation:

  • Local exposure of the company name and logo on shirts and advertising boards at home games.
  • National exposure of company name and logo on the shirts at away games.
  • Exposure of company name and logo on shirts and national television audiences.
  • Exposure of company name and logo on advertising boards on Chelsea TV.
  • Exposure of company name and logo on shirts through broadband TV.
  • Exposure of the companies name and logo through ATFC's official website.
  • Exposure in the local press and official Match-day Programme.
  • Exposure at all football grounds.
  • Local exposure at home games - (shirts and advertising boards).
  • Average home attendance (for nationwide Conference League so far: 3,300

Advertising board to expose at Chelsea Reserve games played at the recreation ground Chelsea reserves play all "home" games at the recreation ground Chelsea TV televises these games live, usually on a Monday evening.

Chelsea TV has 30,000 subscribers, 90% in the home counties and is available to 20 million Chelsea reserves - (advertising boards)

In addition to Conference League matches.ATFC is involved in the following competitions:

  • The FA Cup
  • The FA Trophy
  • LDV Trophy
  • The Hampshire Senior Cup

Since joining the Conference season 2003-04, ATFC has reached Play-offs for promotion to the Football League, Division 2:
2003-04 Play-Offs (home, away attendance's 6,000; 7,000) and Play-off Final (attendance 19,000 plus full live coverage on sky TV) and 2004-05 Play-offs (home,away attendance's: 6,500; 11,00).

Exposure through newspapers (named as Official Sponsor)

Local Press:

  • Article announcing the Official Sponsor with photograph.

  • Non League Football (Published twice weekly).
  • Action photographs of players.

Additional Benefits

The sponsoring Organisation will receive the following annual benefits package as part of The Sponsorship Programme:

  • Named as the match-day Sponsor for a game of The Sponsoring Company's choice.
  • Membership of The Ambassadors Club for two.
  • Admission to the ground and seating area for six employees for each home game.
  • Use the Recreation Ground's facilities (bars, conference facilities, pitch) for two separate days (dates to be agreed with ATFC management).
  • International television exposure through Broadband TV (shirts and/or advertising boards)
  • www.conferencefootball.tv 5-6 minute highlights of ATFC home and away fixtures; potential world-wide audience

Exposure through other sources (named as the official sponsor)

  • On ATFC's official website previously estimated 300,000 "hits" to theShots.co.uk website.
  • Our Award Winning Match-day programme.
