"If I am honest I am disappointed not to win the match. However we showed plenty of commitment in getting back into it after conceding another early goal.
"That has been the story of the season so far. We did have opportunities though and worked their goalkeeper during the second half and I thought that we possibly shaded it after the break.
"I am sure there were no complaints on the entertainment value but I am here to win matches. Better finishing could have ensured that.
"We had to work the squad again with the injury situation. Dave Winfield and Lewis Chalmers played although they were not 100%. Justin Cochrane was on the bench with a dead leg and John Grant and Danny Hylton were not available through injury too.
"I am here to push the club forward and it has been frustrating recently. We will have to wait and see how that develops. It would be nice to come to the end of the season and be able to relax and reflect on the season and see how we can plan for the future.
"We have to be realistic and make sure that we don't get carried away. This is our first attempt at this level. I don't know what everybody expects. It has been difficult for a number of different reasons including not being able to bring players in when we wanted due to the financial situation.
"I don't want to keep on harping about it but the squad isn't big enough. In the recent weeks it has been plain for everybody to see that. Only time will tell what we can do as a club about it. "
